Woodlot Hostel - Malang

The staff are young and keen to help, making my stay enjoyable. The bed on the second floor was comfy and had a personal window. The room had nice amenities like a dim light and there were soap, shampoo, and hand soap provided. The hostel's location was perfect, with everything I needed within walking distance.

Felt truly spoilt, no reason to complain.

Friendly reception girls, clean with nice design, great beds, centrally located. Loads of room, comfy mattresses, privacy curtains, lockable cupboards. Convenient for train station, park, ATMs, supermarket and local attractions. Basic English spoken by staff. Would consider staying again.

my recent stay in malang surpassed all expectations. woodlot hostel provided a clean and comfortable environment with private bunk beds, free water and coffee, and a convenient location. the staff were friendly and helped arrange a fantastic bromo sunrise tour. overall, an excellent experience.

Outdoor bathrooms were in poor condition.

I recently stayed at Woodlot in Malang for a week, and it was the best hostel experience I've had. The staff were friendly, the location was great, and there were plenty of amazing food options nearby. The pods were convenient, with lockers and a power point. I loved the comfortable and private capsule beds, with curtains for added privacy. They even provided a small breakfast with fruit. I also appreciated the 24/7 front desk and the free loaner sandals for walking around inside. Highly recommended.

The hostel had a 24-hour desk, so helpful if I wanted to complain about anything. Oh, and they offered an "Asian" breakfast, which was a great adventure for my taste buds.

How nice of them to offer free self-parking! Just a shame they didn't bother cleaning the bathrooms regularly.

The value for money at Woodlot was excellent. The room was cozy, clean, and the capsule beds provided a comfortable and private sleeping experience. The location was central, within walking distance from the train station and Rainbow Village.

We had a fantastic stay at a hostel with great comfy beds, which were capsule style and offered a lot of privacy. the staff, especially the reception girls, were incredibly helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. their exceptional service was one of the main reasons why we decided to extend our stay not just once, but twice. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
